We are proud of our children and all that they achieve and share with them a great pride in our school
The work of the School Advisory Council takes place within the context of the work of the Catholic Church, educating its young people in the Catholic faith and for full participation in society. Key principles underpinning this are Partnership and Service.
The Council is one of the ways that allows parents the opportunity for greater involvement. The School Advisory Council member, by offering to be of service to the school community, enriches the school and contributes to building a Catholic culture that ensures the welfare of our community.
The School Advisory Council meets monthly and is responsible for supporting the Principal and endorsing the financial management of the school in an advisory capacity. Council members are elected by the parent body at our Annual Community Meeting (ACM). Parents who have a deep interest in the welfare of all students, a keenness to promote Catholic schooling, and who believe that their skills and talents would be an asset to the school are encouraged to nominate for a position on the School Advisory Council.
