WA Museum Excursion
In Term Two, year four visited the WA Museum Boola Bardip. Students delved into fascinating exhibitions showcasing the diverse marine life of Western Australia. They explored various adaptations that enable marine creatures to thrive in their unique environments, specifically around Australia’s coast. Through interactive displays and guided discussions, students learned about camouflage, bioluminescence, and specialized feeding mechanisms. This engaging experience provided a deeper understanding of marine biodiversity and the students had a lovely afternoon exploring the museum.
Welcome to Year 4
Year 4 has ignited 2024 with a whirlwind of excitement! We started with swimming lessons followed shortly by our class assembly. We entertained the school with lessons on Friendship Ninjas, and robot creations through place value mastery and displayed our synchronized swimming skills. We have been lucky to have Rugby WA do an incursion with us and been visited by St Norbert to give us an insight into a day in the life of a high school student. It has been a busy term.
